The Bulls are trying to hang on here at the Sun Dome as they have No. 17-ranked Pittsburgh on the ropes.
USF went up by 14 on a basket by Jarrid Famous, but the Panthers quickly scored five in a row to cut the lead to nine on a 3-pointer by Ashton Gibbs.
We’re in a TV timeout right now with USF leading 53-44 behind a game-high 24 points from guard Dominique Jones.
Chris Howard has 12 points and Mike Mercer 9 for USF. Gilbert Brown leads the Panthers with 19 points.
