USF’s Dominique Jones just hit a 3-pointer to put the Bulls up 47-37 over No. 17 Pittsburgh here at the Sun Dome.
Jones has a game-high 22 points as the Bulls appear on the cusp of pulling off an upset over the Panthers, who are playing without injured senior guard Jermaine Dixon.
USF’s biggest lead came in the first half at 22-11. After Pittsburgh went on an 11-0 run to tie the game, the Bulls have outscored Pitt 25-15.
