The first quarter of USF’s first game outside of the U.S. is in the books, and the Bulls lead 3-0.
The only scoring came on Eric Schwartz’s 39-yard field goal with 10:17 left in the quarter.
USF gained only 37 yards in the quarter, compared to 77 for the Huskies. However, the Bulls made the biggest play of the quarter when the stopped Northern Illinois on a fake punt attempt and took over possession at NIU’s 49.
