So far, the Bulls are outplaying No. 17 Pittsburgh here at the Sun Dome.
Coach Stan Heath is getting the most out of his role players. Reserve Alex Rivas made a nice pass to a cutting Mike Mercer for a basket as the shot clock was winding down, putting the Bulls up 19-9, the biggest lead of the game.
Pitt has cut it to 19-11 with 7:44 left in the half.
Dominque Jones lead the Bulls with 8 points; Pittsburgh G Ashton Gibbs leads the Panthers with four points.
