The first half sort of went like USF’s season of late—up and down. The Bulls looked like the New Orleans Saints offense on their first two possessions, totaling 160 yards on a pair of 80-yard drives.
However, the second quarter belonged to Louisville to the frustration of a spirited homecoming crowd at Raymond James Stadium.
USF regained the lead 17-16 on Eric Schwartz’s 22-yard field goal on the final play of the first half.
