Upton returns to game action

B.J. Upton went 0-for-3 and played five innings at second base today for Vero Beach in a 3-2 loss to the Tampa Yankees at Legends Field. Upton, on the DL with a strained left quadriceps, grounded out to third twice and flied out to right.
I imagine he’ll at least have to play an entire game in the field before being activated, but we’ll wait and see what the powers that be say later this afternoon.
