Florida’s Katie Fraine, a redshirt senior in the fall, will be among 23 players (including three other goalkeepers) invited to compete in the U.S. under-23 women’s national soccer team training camp.
The camp will be held in Carson, Calif., Sunday-June 19. The roster will be cut to 18 after camp with the squad to play in the Four Nations Tournament in Leicester, England, July 7-12.
Fraine, a graduate of Titusville High School, earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-South Region first-team honors last season. She was the all-Southeastern Conference first-team goalkeeper selection and named goalkeeper for the first team on TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Season.
