Although Hillsborough High is losing three-year starting quarterback Tarean Austin to graduation, the Terriers suddenly have plenty of options at the position with the recent move-ins of Dominic Neglio from Jefferson and Jeremy Agrinzonis from Durant.

Neglio is a 5-foot-8, 170-pound freshman who played quarterback on Jefferson’s junior varsity squad last fall. Agrinzonis is a 6-0, 160-pound sophomore who saw time at both quarterback and split end on Durant’s varsity.
With the addition of these two players, Terriers coach Earl Garcia suddenly has five potential quarterbacks on his spring roster.
Garcia says sophomore Ryan Byrd (5-11, 175), who backed up Austin last season, is the squad’s “incumbent” at the position. And coming up from Hillsborough’s undefeated junior varsity team (8-0) are quarterbacks Apoleon Moore, a sophomore, and freshman Logan LaPace.
