Two more Tampa high schoolers selected in MLB Draft

Bloomingdale shortstop Richie Martin and Jefferson pitcher Jimmy Herget were selected during the final day of the MLB First-Year Draft on Wednesday.
Martin was selected in the 38th round (1,151 overall) by the Mariners. Martin hit .438 with 25 runs, 19 RBI with 21 stolen bases
Herget went in the 40th round (No. 1,229 overall) to the Braves. Herget finished with a sub-1.00 ERA and was the Saladino Tournament MVP.
