Brooks-DeBartolo senior outfielder Kelvin Mention was selected Wednesday by the Minnesota Twins in tehe 36th round (1,095th overall) of the MLB draft.
Mention, an outfielder, is the second Phoenix senior to be selected this year. His teammate, Jadamion Williams, was selected Tuesday, and also by the Twins (in the 10th round).
Mention, who has signed with Alcorn State, hit .407 with five doubles, two triples, four home runs, 14 RBIs and 27 runs scored this past season.
