Marcus Jones will answer select questions from readers submitted using the form on this blog.
Q: My question relates to maturity levels. I know there is always drama in the house and on the mats but you seem to keep a pretty level head and stay above it all. It looks like it helps you keep your composure. You seem to have a clear picture of what is going on. So my question is do you feel like your life experience before MMA and time in the NFL helped you keep your head about you while in the house instead of getting sucked into the drama and why?
Nick Massoth, Payette, ID
A: I am a 36-year-old man with a wife and two kids. I don’t have time for drama. I’m trying to set an example for my kids. Don’t preach it if you are not willing to practice it. My time in the NFL helped me deal with a lot of different personalities. Good example, training camp. Fifty eight guys all fighting for a job just like in the house.
