We’ve spent the past 10 days counting down our preseason top 10 football poll, which was voted on by our five staff writers who cover high school football - Adam Adkins, Joey Johnston, Katherine Smith, Bill Ward and Nick Williams.

Here is the complete poll, along with links to stories on each of the top 10 teams (just click on the team name).

Points were awarded based on poll position (10 points for a first-place vote, nine points for second, eight for third, etc.). Each team’s regular-season opener is scheduled for Sept. 3.
