Topps is going Willie Wonka for its 2012 Topps Baseball Series 1 set.
Taking the lead from the 1971 movie, “Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” Topps will insert Gold Tickets (10, to be exact) into hobby boxes of Series 1, which hits stores on Feb. 1.
Winners will truly receive something golden” a gold-infused official MLB baseball autographed by Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and Ken Griffey Jr.
Here’s what a ticket will look like. If you get one, let me know. I’d be interested to hear your story.
