TE Troupe Headed Into Town

TAMPA - The Bucs search for upgrades at tight end will not end with the expected signing of John Gilmore.
Though a date for the visit is uncertain, the Bucs will soon entertain free agent Ben Troupe, according to Troupe’s agent.
The Bucs are also believed to be interested in at least talking to fellow free agent tight end Eric Johnson.
The Bucs previously met with tight end Alge Crumpler, but Crumpler is believed to be leaning toward signing with either Seattle or Tennessee.

they should just cut all their players and sign every one they are interested in and they will have a new roster.

Wow, insightful analysis there Jose. Bears fan I take it?

Ben Troupe is a waist of talent. Bucs are better off promoting Alex Smith and re-signing Jeremy Stevens. And Crumpler, he’s one cheeseburger away from eating his way out of the leage.

Ben Troupe? Eric Johnson? Yawn. Outside of Alge Crumpler, I really don’t see anyone I’d consider an upgrade.
