TC’s Holder lands Georgia Southern offer

Tampa Catholic cornerback Tyree Holder picked up another scholarship Thursday when six-time NCAA Division I-AA national champion Georgia Southern University officially made him a pitch, Crusaders coach Bob Henriquez announced.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound Holder is a shutdown corner and three-year starter for the Crusaders. He also has offers from Toldeo, Stony Brook and Ball State.
Holder finished this season with two interceptions and 24 tackles. He also saw duty on offense as a receiver and handled the bulk of the Crusaders’ punt return chores.
