TC’s Greens to reveal decisions live on ESPNU

Tampa Catholic stars Chaz Green and Christian Green will reveal their college choices live on ESPNU during a broadcast on Wednesday, National Signing Day.

The 24-hour college sports network will feature a two-set, live studio show that day called “ESPNU Recruiting Insider: National Signing Day Presented by Under Armour.” The fifth show will originate from ESPNU’s studios in Charlotte, N.C. and air from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the entire show simulcasting on ESPN360.com for the first time.

ESPNU is expected to switch to Tampa Catholic at aproximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, where the Greens, who are not related, will don the hats from the colleges of their choice. Chaz Green, a 6-5, 295-pound offensive lineman, has narrowed his list of choices to Tennesee, Florida, Ohio State and the University of Southern California. He was leaning toward Tennessee, but that was before coach Lane Kiffin jumped ship to USC. Chaz will see Lane again this weekend in Los Angeles when he takes his last official recruiting trip, to USC.

Christian Green, a 6-1, 190-pound quarterback/receiver, says his finalists are Georgia and Florida State. He’s visiting the Seminoles his weekend. Both the Greens are among the nation’s top recruits according to multiple recruiting services.

Ten recruits will announce their college commitments live during the National Signing Day show on ESPNU.
