Tampa Bay Tech rising senior strong safety/linebacker Tim Stewart, a three-year starter for the Titans, received his first official offer when Iowa State made a written pitch, TBT coach C.C. Culpepper announced Wednesday.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Stewart began his TBT career at linebacker, where he wound up leading the team in tackles. Last season, Culpepper moved Stewart to strong safety, where he ran back two interceptions for touchdowns and, also playing special teams, blocked four punts.
Culpepper said Stewart has also received interest from South Florida, North Carolina State and the University of Miami.
