TBT-Plant opener on radio

Local radio station WDAE, entering its sixth year with the Beef O’ Brady’s High School Football Game of the Week broadcasts, has released its schedule for the first three weeks of the regular season, and the matchup between Plant and Tampa Bay Tech will kick off its coverage this season Sept. 3.

The Panthers-Titans game can be heard on WDAE’s sister station, WHNZ. Darek Sharp will handle the play-by-play, Jason Floyd will serve as color commentator and Justin Pawlowski will again handle sideline reporting.

The station will carry Pinellas County matchups in Weeks 2 and 3. Below is the initial three-week schedule, as well as the station on which the game’s can be heard.

Sept. 3: Plant at Tampa Bay Tech (1250 AM)
Sept. 10: Largo at East Lake (1250 AM)
Sept. 16: Lakewood at Boca Ciega (620 AM)
