Tampa Prep’s Class 1A state soccer final match moved to Thursday

Tampa Prep’s Class 1A state soccer final match has been moved up a day to Thursday, February 14 at 5:05 p.m. at Melbourne High Shcool.
Tampa Prep (24-1-3), the defending 1A state champion will take on North Miami Beach Scheck Hillel Community (19-1-1) which is making its first appearance in the state finals.
The Terrapins defeated Maitland Orangewood Christian 2-1 in overtime in Friday’s state semifinal, while Hillel Community spoiled Melbourne Central Catholic’s chance to play the state final in its home town with a 4-3 win. Tampa Prep is seeking its sixth state title.
