Tampa Prep will host an Advanced Concussion Training Seminar on Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m. The seminar is free and open to the public.
Chris Nowinski from the Sports Legacy Institute will lead the seminar that will be held in the school’s Walter Athletic Gymnasium.
Nowinski is the co-founder and president of the Sports Legacy Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving the sports concussion crisis. He also serves as a co-director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine and serves on the NFL Players Association Mackey/White TBI Research Committee.
