Tampa Catholic’s Harrison signs with St. John’s River

Tampa Catholic senior point guard Lashawn Harrison, who led the Crusaders to the Class 3A state semifinals this past season, has signed with St. John’s River Community College in Palatka, Tampa Catholic coach Don Dziagwa announced.

Harrison (6-foot) averaged 18 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game for the 21-9 Crusaders.

Harrison is the two-time FACA Hillsborough County 3A Player of the Year and was twice named to the Tribune’s All-Hillsborough County Boys Basketball second-team. He was also selected to the Tampa Bay Basketball Coaches Association All-Star team this past season and played in the East vs. West Hillsborough County All-Star game and Hillsborough vs. Pinellas County All-Star game.
