Tampa Catholic’s girls basketball team got some good workouts in this summer and capped them off with a championship.
The defending Class 3A state champions won the SEBA Summer League Championship, taking care of the top teams in the process. The Crusaders defeated No. 2 seed Riverview in the semifinals and the No. 1 seeded Florida Eagles in the finals to take the title.
Tampa Catholic’s getting used to life without its top scorers Sarah Brennan (University of Tampa) and Colette Eule (Air Force Academy). Recent UCF commit Meghan Keough will see an increased role.
