Tampa Catholic’s leading scorer Colette Eule verbally committed to play for Air Force.
Eule, the Tampa Tribune’s Player of the Year last season, chose Air Force over Amherst, Emory and Northeastern.
Eule, who surpassed the 1,000-point career mark last season and leads the Crusaders with a 17.4 points per game average this season, took an official visit to Air Force late last year and immediately fell in love with the campus and the team.
“I knew after I went on my visit that I liked it,” Eule said. “I got a feel for the coaching staff and the players and I got a good feel for the team. I will have to work hard but I know if I do, I can make an impact early on.”
