Tampa Bay Bucs to host 100 Tigers

Middleton will be the only team in Hillsborough County on a bye Friday. Rather than letting his players take the night off, first-year Middleton coach Jason Stokes wanted to put the team in a football environment that would motivate them for next week’s game against Plant City.

So, Stokes went ahead and called the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who gave the team 100 free tickets to Friday’s exhibition game against the Houston Texans. Stokes said the coaches will be traveling to various games tonight to scout district opponents.

“Felt good to reward the kids for all their hard work,” Stokes said.
