Several Pedagogy athletes qualified from Region 4 for nationals, including Pasco High’s Alfreda Steele, who won the 100 meters in the 15-16 year-old division; Zephyrhills’ Jakayla Jones, who took fourth in the high jump in the 15-16 division; Springstead’s Wilena Little, who took fifth in the long jump for 17-18 year-old division; and Tampa Bay Tech’s David Thompson, who took second in the 17-18s high jump competition.
