Spoto’s second-leading scorer Chelsea White has transferred to Brooks-DeBartolo.
White averaged 15.6 point per game and led the Spartans with 4.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game last season. The senior point guard is the second of Hillsborough County’s top players to switch schools this year.
The Tribune first reported Tesha Hanson, the county’s leading scorer last season, transferred from Seffner Christian to Riverview.
Brooks-Debartolo finished 19-8 and advanced to the playoffs for the first time in school history. The Phoenix were led by Vintoria Hopps (14.6 ppg) and Tatiana Manuel (12.5 ppg).
