Spoto head football coach Dale Caparaso said Saturday his team will play Longwood Lyman in a postseason bowl game and not Wiregrass Ranch.
Caparaso said the game will be played on Nov. 21. at 5 p.m at Winter Springs.
Durant previously accepted the bowl invite to play Lyman but backed out, Caparaso said. Spoto was scheduled to play Wiregrass Ranch Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at a site yet to determined.
The FHSAA allows teams that finish with a record at or above .500 to play in a postseason bowl game. Spoto (7-3) was eliminated from the playoffs with a district loss to Lakewood.
