Florida linebacker Brandon Spikes, Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton and Arkansas return specialist Dennis Johnson were named Southeastern Conference players of the week.
Spikes had 11 tackles, a career-best three sacks and a fumble recovery in Florida’s win at LSU.
Crompton complete 20 of 27 passes for a career-high 310 yards and four touchdowns in the Volunteers’ win over Georgia.
Johnson had three kickoff returns for 145 yards in Arkansas’ victory over Auburn, including a pivotal 70-yarder.
Alabama center William Vlachos was offensive lineman of the week, while defensive line honors went to Kentucky’s Corey Peters. South Carolina receiver Alshon Jeffery was freshman of the week.
