BALTIMORE—Good afternoon from Camden Yards, where the Rays will look to avoid falling to .500 overall tonight against the last-place Orioles after splitting the first two games of the series.
Andy Sonnanstine is on the hill for the Rays tonight, getting a bonus start courtesy of the weekend’s nasty weather in Boston. That may not be a good thing, considering Sonnanstine’s ugly career numbers against the Orioles (2-4, 8.55 ERA), but we’ll see what happens.
Speaking of weather, it’s rather gloomy here at the moment but according to the weather services it doesn’t seem like rain is going to be as big a concern tonight as it will be tomorrow. Stay tuned, though—Jim Cantore has nothing on us.
The lineup:
Bartlett SS
Crawford LF
Longoria 3B
Zobrist RF
Burrell DH
Aybar 1B
Upton CF
Zaun C
Iwamura 2B
