Someday My Prince Will Come

In about 30 minutes, the NFL is hosting a series of news conferences featuring the Super Bowl entertainment, which includes Billy Joel and Prince.
Joel will perform the National Anthem, while Prince will be entertaining billions of viewers at halftime. The former symbol who was formerly known as Prince, or whatever that madness was when he changed his name, seems an interesting choice. I’ve seen Prince in concert several times and he is an unbelievable entertainer.
But given the NFL’s history with halftime scandal - remember Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” - Prince seems a rather risky choice. This is a man who once wore butt-less pants to an MTV Awards show.
This could also be a very interesting news conference. Prince very rarely grants interviews. So, I’m interested to see what he has to say. I’m particularly curious if the Minneapolis native is a Vikings fan. Stay tuned.
