Softball: Schinella commits to FSU

Newsome junior pitcher Bailey Schinella has verbally committed to Florida State, Newsome head softball coach Dawn Vanella confirmed.
Last season, Schinella went 17-2 on the mound with an 0.30 ERA, 123 Ks and seven shutouts. She also batted .521 with a team-best 38 hits, 32 RBIs and 12 extra base hits, including six triples.
Schinella was named All-Western Conference and All-County by the Tampa Tribune.
