Six Riverview senior football players will continue their playing careers at the next level, Sharks coach Bruce Gifford said Thursday.
Linebacker Davale Royal has committed to Quincy University, an NAIA program, while receiver David Ray, defensive lineman Eric Disla and offensive lineman Eric Diaz each have committed to Concordia (Wisc.) University, a Division III program.
Meanwhile, defensive lineman Jacob Farmer and defensive back Terrence Carter each have accepted preferred walk-on spots to Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) programs. Farmer is headed to Florida A&M, while Carter is headed to Savannah State.
