The Tampa Bay Buccaneers thought enough of Sickles coach Pat O’Brien to name him as their Coach of the Year.

O’Brien was honored at the Bucs final home game against the Atlanta Falcons. In addition to receiving a commemorative certificate, a football and a hat, O’Brien also received $2,000 for the Gryphons football program.
The veteran coach, who was honored earlier in the season as the Bucs Coach of the Week, helped guide Sickles to its second playoff appearance in school history last season, and nearly pulled off an upset at Armwood.
