UPDATE: Amber Henson led the USA team with 14 points in its 33-6 victory against Germany on Tuesday in the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
Team USA is now 3-0 in preliminary play and will enjoy a day off on Wednesday before taking on Belarus on Thursday in the final game of the preliminary round.

Amber Henson and her United States teammates have established themselves as the the team to beat.
The Sickles senior All-American has helped the USA Women’s team to a 2-0 record at this week’s Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. In Monday’s preliminary round victory against Singapore, Henson added three points, an assist, a steal and a block.
In the opening round game on Sunday against Angola, Henson was the team’s second-leading scorer with 10 points. She also had three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal.
Next up for the U.S. team is Germany on Tuesday. They wrap up preliminary round action with a game against Belarus on Thursday. The quarterfinals begin on Saturday.
