Sickles Crum picks North Florida

A day before her senior season officially starts, Sickles point guard Bre Crum decided on her college.

Crum verbally committed to the University of North Florida, Sickles coach Mark Key said. Crum’s played an integral role in the ascension of the Gryphons girls basketball program and helped lead the team to the state Final Four last year.

Last season, Crum led the team is scoring with 20.9 points per game, in assists with 4.9 per game and steals with 4 per game.

Basketball practice across the county kicks off on Monday and the Gryphons open the regular season against Wharton at home on Nov. 15.
