ST. PETERSBURG—Greetings from Tropicana Field, where the Rays begin a nine game homestand tonight against the Yankees after going 6-4 at Kansas City, Chicago and Toronto.
The first bit of news involves a personnel move. As expected, the club has activated left-handed reliever Brian Shouse from the disabled list. Reliever Dale Thayer has been optioned back to Triple-A Durham.
We’ll update this with the lineup in a little bit.
