Shelby Wright signs, Nick Pardo commits

Mitchell soccer player Shelby Wright signed a scholarship to play soccer at Nova Southeastern University, while Land O’ Lakes’ Nick Pardo gave a verbal commitment to the St. Petersburg College baseball team after receiving an offer form the school.
Last season Wright, a midfielder, scored 10 goals and had nine assists for a total of 29 points.
Pardo, a first baseman, who also plays football for the Gators, collected a .333 batting average, had 25 hits, 23 RBIs, scored 22 runs and hit four homers in 2008.
