Former FSU and Plant City High receiver Joslin Shaw didn’t get drafted, but Shaw has been invited to participate in a rookie mini-camp with the Cleveland Browns that starts on Friday.
As of Wednesday morning, other receivers scheduled to participate in the camp include Miami’s Lance Leggett and Brandon Copeland of Bridgewater (Va.).
Shaw, despite serving a four-game suspension related to FSU’s academic misconduct probe and being ruled academically ineligible for the Music City Bowl, finished with a career-high 15 catches in eight games last season. He caught the attention of NFL scouts at FSU’s Pro Day by posting the fastest 40-yard dash time of all the former Noles working out that day at Doak Campbell Stadium.
