Shane Arbet snags Trustee Scholarship for Allegheny College

Recent Academy at the Lakes graduate Shane Arbet was awarded the Allegheny College’s Trustee Scholarship. The scholarship is guaranteed for four years of study at the school, located in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Arbet, who earned an unweighted GPA of 3.30, was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Coastal Clean-up of Pasco County, and Metropolitan Ministries, plans to play football for the Gators. He’ll join an Allegheny squad that went 8-2.

The scholarship recognizes those who excel in the classroom as well as extracurricular achievement and leadership.

While at Academy at the Lakes, Arbet participated in football, soccer, basketball, tennis, track and swimming.
