7 Hour Report
As expected, the best battle is in GT2. After 7 hours at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh From Florida, Gianmari Bruni leads Jorg Bergmeister by just 3.7 seconds! Bruni is driving the #62 Risi Ferrari 430 GT and Bergmeister is in the #45 Flying Lizard Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. Tommy Miler, is one lap down in the #92 BMW E92 M3.
Peugeot continues to run 1-2 overall with Mark Gene leading in the #07 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP by 9 seconds over the #08 Peugeot being driven by Sebastien Bourdais. They have completed 217 laps.
Following JR Hildebrand’s crash in the #36 Oreca FLM09, the #55 Oreca FLM09 now has a comfortable lead in LMPC. Christophe Bouchut is the current class leader, running ninth overall at 194 laps, and have a 7 lap lead over the #99 Oreca FLM09 being driven by Gunnar Jeannette.
Simon Pagenaud has a four-lap lead in P2, driving the #1 HDP ARX-01c. He is fourth overall at 212 laps.
Leh Keen continues to lead GTC in the #81 Mission Foods/Alex Job Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, ranking 20th overall at 182 laps.
