Tampa Bay veteran receiver Lawrence Samuels just tied an AFL record by notching a reception in his 128th consecutive game.
Samuels hauled in a 14-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brett Dietz on the Storm’s opening drive of tonight’s home game against the Chicago Rush. The score gave Tampa Bay a 7-0 lead.
Samuels is now tied with former Orlando Predator Cory Fleming for the AFL record. Samuels will get a chance to break the record Friday at home against New Orleans.
