Robinson receiver/defensive back/kick returner Frankie Williams has landed his first scholarship offer from a Southeastern Conference program.
It came Monday night from Vanderbilt, Knights assistant Shawn Taylor said. The Commodores have recruited the South Tampa school before, signing brothers Kwane and Jermaine Doster earlier this decade.
Vanderbilt joins a list of programs to make scholarship offers to Williams that includes Cincinnati, Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa State, N.C. State and Washington State, among others.
