Robinson baseball coach Juan Fontela resigned his position Monday after two seasons leading the Knights.
The Knights were 13-33 during Fontela’s tenure, including 6-17 in 2010.
“It was just time for somebody else to step in,” Fontela said, adding his desire to spend more time with his family, including two young children, was a factor in his decision.
