Riverview’s Quinones picks up first offer

Riverview senior offensive lineman Anthony Quinones has picked up his first offer, according to Sharks coach Bruce Gifford. It came from Marist, a Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) program.

Quinones is a three-year varsity player and a starter each of the last two seasons on the Sharks’ offensive line.

Gifford also said that Division II Tiffin University has extended offers to defensive lineman Eric Disla, offensive lineman Eric Diaz and running back Terrence Carter. The trio is going through the admissions process now, Gifford said, and each hopes to be cleared by National Signing Day (Feb. 3).
