Ridgewood’s Sarangelys Cruz to PHCC

Ridgewood star middle hitter Sarangelys Cruz will sign a scholarship to play volleyball at Pasco-Hernando Community College on Wednesday, according to Rams coach Amber Starkey.
Cruz, who helped guide Ridgewood to a Class 4A-District 7 runner up spot and a 19-9 record, collected a team-high 343 kills and 83 blocks. She was also second on the team with 225 digs and 59 aces.
The senior was a first-team All-Pasco Tribune and All-Sunshine Athletic Conference selection this past season.
