Jefferson lost more than a football game Thursday night. They also lost starting offensive lineman Kevin Reeves.

Reeves was ejected during the third quarter of the Dragons 46-13 loss to Plant after he apparently threw a punch following a play. Per FHSAA rules, Reeves must sit out at least one game, which means he would be unavailable when Jefferson begins district competition next Friday against Osceola.
The junior offensive lineman can appeal the decision. Depending on how severe the FHSAA feels the infraction was will determine the length of his suspension.
