Rays @ Yankees: Rain, rain and more rain

ROGER MOONEY
NEW YORK Nasty day in the big city as rain blankets the area.
Major delays at the three airports. The Long Island Railroad is reporting delays.
Hard to imagine there will be a baseball game this afternoon at Yankee Stadium.
No official word yet, and Joe Maddon was on the first of the two team buses so the Rays are headed to the stadium.
A rainout today would mean a doubleheader in September when the Rays return to Yankee Stadium.
We’ll keep you posted.
