Rays vs. Orioles: Zobrist sits

ST. PETERSBURG Ben Zobrist is not in the lineup tonight against the Orioles.
He was lifted in the ninth inning Friday night for pinch-hitter Sam Fuld because of a sore neck. Zobrist and Maddon said after the game it wasn’t an issue, but it appears to be enough of an issue for Zobrist to sit.
The Rays try to rebound after Friday’s disheartening 3-2 loss to keep their dim playoff hopes alive. Wade Davis (8-8, 4.52) faces Alfredo Simon (4-7, 4.26).
