Rays vs Jays: The battle for third place

ST. PETERSBURG James Shields will try to rebound from the shellacking he took last week in Oakland and try to prevent the Rays from falling into fourth place for the first time this season since April 17 and for the first time this late in the year since those Devil Rays days of 2007.
The Rays are 11 games out of first place and 10 games back of the Wild Card-leading Yankees.
The fourth-place Blue Jays are just a half-game behind the Rays.
