BALTIMORE—The Rays will open their 2010 season at home April 6 against the Orioles, then host the Yankees the first weekend of the season, based on the schedule to be released by Major League Baseball today.
The Rays’ interleague series will consist of a three-game trip to Houston May 21-23 and home (June 11-13) and away (18-20) series with the Marlins on consecutive weekends in June, the latter preceded by a trip to Atlanta and followed by a homestand against the Padres and Diamondbacks (June 22-27).
Tampa Bay will wrap up its regular season with a four-game trip to Kansas City from Sept. 30-Oct. 3.
